At Noir Signage & Co., we strive to provide prompt, professional, and reliable notarial services. Because notary services are time-based and legally regulated, we maintain the following refund policy:

 

1. Non-Refundable Services

Notary fees are non-refundable once the service has been rendered, regardless of the outcome or use of the notarized document. This includes:

  • Completed notarizations

  • Mobile travel fees once the notary is en route or has arrived

  • Late arrival or failure to produce proper identification or documents

 

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours' notice may be refunded in full.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service total, particularly if travel arrangements were made.

 

3. No-Shows

If the client fails to appear for the scheduled appointment without notice, the full service and travel fee (if applicable) will be charged and no refund will be issued.

 

4. Incomplete or Invalid Documents

If notarization cannot be completed due to issues such as:

  • Missing identification

  • Incomplete or unsigned documents

  • Language barriers without prior notice

  • Signer’s inability to understand or willingness to sign

... the travel and service fees are still applicable and non-refundable.

 

5. Errors by Notary

If an error is made by the notary (e.g., incorrect stamp or signature placement), Noir Signage & Co. will correct the mistake at no additional charge. However, no refunds will be issued unless the error cannot be resolved due to notary fault.

 

6. Refund Requests

All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the service date. Please include your name, appointment date/time, and reason for the request. Send to:

Noir Signage & Co. reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website or upon request.
